Noun Clause

Klausa adalah kelompok kata yang mengandung subjek dan kata kerja. Klausa dapat menggantikan jenis kata tertentu.

Misalnya, Anda mungkin akrab dengan adjective clause (klausa kata sifat) yang berfungsi sebagai pengganti kata sifat yang meneragkan kata benda.

"The man, who looked sleepy, sat down."

"Who looked sleepy" adalah klausa kata sifat karena klausa tersebut menggantikan kata sifat. Sebuah kata sifat digunakan untuk menggambarkan nomina dan begitu juga klausa kata sifat.
